Position Summary:

Performs routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and upkeep of the Agency’s facilities.

Requirements Required:

• Must possess a current Class C Texas driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

Qualifications Required:

• Performs weekly and monthly preventive maintenance and facility care of all sites (OH, RHH, CHC and CCW).
• Assures proper maintenance of the facility.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, vinyl surfaces, metalwork and trim.
• Sanitizes rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, other work areas, floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Assures that all waste is properly disposed of in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport of small equipment or tools between departments.
• Performs other necessary duties to ensure facility cleanliness and safety to include but not limited to the following: sweeping, mopping, checking filters, etc.
