We are looking to hire a full-time Phlebotomist who is dedicated to making a positive impact on people’s lives at our Seguin Family Health Center location

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform venipuncture and dermal puncture on patients of all ages.

· Collect, label, and process specimens according to established procedures.

· Ensures timely transportation of specimens.

· Processes specimens for transport to outside labs.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Interact with patients professionally and compassionately.

· Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

· Maintains records for accuracy.

· Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

· Need to have medical knowledge and understanding of DX.

· Recording patient summary and including vital signs (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Weight, Height, Temperature, Pain Level and 02%).

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.

· Current certification as a Phlebotomist (e.g., ASCP, NHA, NCCT)

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling.
