Description

Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Services, provides Behavioral Health clinical supervision, direct patient care, and assists in administrative tasks to ensure the highest quality services to the organization’s patients, in accordance with health center policies and procedures.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Behavorial Health Counselingstaff.

• Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the organization’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety, consistent with the organization’s principles.

• Provide direct patient care. Maintain behavioral health case load of patients.

• Work closely with Clinical Services (nursing and medical staff).

• Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity, quality and patient satisfaction, while reducing costs.

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable licensure requirements.Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance. Review required paperwork, medical records, documents, etc. to ensure meeting standards of care.

• Represent the health center regarding behavioral health issues with various human services and contracted agencies.

Qualifications

LICSW with 3 years of experience with direct patient care and clinical supervision.
