STUDENT HEALTHCARE WORKER - PHARMACY TECH TRAINING PROGRAM 

POSITION PURPOSE:

A Student Technician will work alongside pharmacy technicians and staff to learn pharmacy-related duties such as stocking medications, batching IV’s, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, quality control and more. These duties are completed under the supervision of the Pharmacy System Tech as well as a licensed pharmacist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• High school diploma or GED. Math and science focus preferred. 
• Technician in training license required within 30 days of hire
• Basic math and algebra, computer keyboard use, navigation in windows-based programs.
• Microsoft Office, access to computers for remote training, clear communication skills, telephone etiquette, etc.
• Self-starter, people-oriented, able to work in a team and independently, takes pride in work and detail-oriented
