Community Healthcare System is hiring a Full-time Registered Nurse to work Night shifts within our Neuroscience Critical Care team at the Community Hospital in Munster, IN!

Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000 

Neuroscience ICU 

• 12 private bed Specialty Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit
  • Stroke, Spine, Thrombectomy, Bleeds, Post-Crani, Seizure patients
• Comprehensive Stroke Center with 24/7 Neurointensivist, Neurointerventionalist, Neurosurgeon, and Nurse Practitioner coverage.
• Support Personnel include: Director of Neuroscience, Nurse Manager, Clinical Team Leader, Stroke Coordinator, Clinicians, Transfer coordinator and team, Stroke Data Nurse, Social Services, Case Management, Dietary, Utilization Management, Therapy services, Wound/Ostomy Service, IV Team, and Admit/Discharge nurse. Self-Scheduling
• Involved Leadership, vested nurses, and a family-like culture.
• Great Nurse to Patient Ratio (1:2)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in IN (IN licensure or multi-state (compact) license)
• Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs
• Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital.
• Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care.
• Performs all the activities in accordance with approved policies and guides.
• Supervises and delegates to ancillary personnel.
