The Clinical Supervisor provides consultation and documentation management within multidisciplinary teams who are providing services to clients with mental health and often times a coexisting substance abuse disorder. Position primarily works remotely but may require occasional in-office meetings for training or to meet with staff. This position provides support and direction for the services delivered by the Behavioral Health team, that is consistent with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Joint Commission, and the American Psychiatric Association management standard in evaluation, assessment, treatment, and service delivery to clients. Due to the on-demand clinical support of this role, this position will be required to document working hours using our time keeping system.
Responsibilities:Education: Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling or equivalent
Licenses or other required certifications: LISW, LPCC, IMFT, Psychologist
Experience: At least one-year supervisory experience preferred.
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities: Strong supervision and communication skills are required. Must have excellent computer skills including working in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Record Systems. Must have a strong commitment to client’s rights and ability to work on a team. Must possess good interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport and work well with others. Must have the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions, and devise appropriate courses of action. Must possess the ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively between two or more activities or sources of information. Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
