Community Development Institute Head Start is Hiring an Infant Toddler Teacher / Kingston Near Birmingham, AL

Location: Kingston 801 46th St N, Birmingham, AL 35212Pay Period: Biweekly
Salary Based on Qualification:
Weeks per Year: 47
Hours Per Week: 40


Infant Toddler Teacher -
Hiring for the 2023-2024 school year.

Pay Rate: CDA Infant Toddler/ AA or BA-$1,314.74 bi-weekly

Schedule: 40 hours a week / 47 weeks a year

We are looking to employ a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children in our Early Head Start program. The Infant/Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs. As a minimum requirement, the applicant to be a teacher must have a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. Applicants able to obtain credential within nine months will also be considered.
