The Camp Counselor Position

We are looking for highly energetic, responsible, efficient, and fun leaders to be a part of our team.

During camp, our day centers around a different theme with corresponding activities and field trips each week. Some of the exciting themes we have planned for this summer include: Under the Big Top, Camp Survival, and Out of this World!

We also host a super fun family event each year! It is the family overnight campout! We all go to CDC Forest, set-up tents, roast hotdogs, and have an incredible night with families. We’d love to see you there!

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Camp Counselor Position

• Available from June 17th-August 9th
• Have no more than 3 planned days off
• Must have availability Monday - Friday (part time and full time shifts available)
• The ability to stay fun, goofy, silly, and positive with children and staff
• Comfortably manage a group of 10 - 12 children
• Comfortable in water (or willingness to try )
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable participating in and/or lead a large group activity (singing camp songs, games in the gym/outside, art/science activities)

The Recruitment Process for the Camp Counselor

The recruiting process will include a combination of phone screens, virtual and in-person interviews, fingerprinting and pre-employment background check.
