Class Description
The purpose of this class is to provide professional level support service to students, staff and / or alumni.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in education, communications, business, marketing or related field preferred. Three (3) years of college admissions experience required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Class Specific Essential Duties
1. Provide outstanding service to students and other internal and external customers.
2. Recruit future graduates to educational opportunities offered by the College.
3. Build relationships with a variety of internal and external constituencies including prospective students, parents, secondary school personnel, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.
4. Conduct ongoing communications with prospective students through a variety of methods including in-person appointments, phone calls, emails, information sessions, high school visits, college fairs, and other events.
5. Collect inquiries and convert them to applicants while providing assistance through each step of the enrollment process.
7. Maintain accurate records on recruitment efforts.
8. Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
