Community Christian School is Hiring a Middle School Teacher Near Fort Dodge, IA

Community Christian School is prayerfully seeking applicants for 7th/8th-grade teaching position for the 2024-2025 school year. This position would entail teaching multiple subjects, but not all, including reading, English, math, history, science, computer science or Bible. The position is flexible and collaborative with other teachers to cover all subjects. Please apply and we can discuss what subjects you are most passionate about.

We are currently seeking to add a qualified educator who loves Jesus, is passionate about a calling to journey with students, embraces collaboration, and desires to facilitate high-quality, student-centered learning.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education or Secondary Education.
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain an Iowa Teaching License
  • Agree to the Community Christian School’s Statement of Faith.

  • Appropriately administer and utilize assessments to inform instruction.
  • Seek to improve skill and knowledge base in current trends, research and methods in instructional techniques, technology, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary connections.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,335.00 - $36,000.00 per year
