Community Care Physicians is Hiring a Phlebotomist Near Latham, NY

Description
Our Lab is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist to join their team!
This is a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Shifts vary between 6:30am -3pm, 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm.
**This position is eligible for up to a $1,000 recruitment/retention bonus! **
Responsibilities:
Obtain specimens and provide back-up support for office.
Perform venipunctures, protimes and strep tests.
Process and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
Communicate lab results to patients via automated voicemail system.
Order and inventory medical supplies.
Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Maintain timely patient flow.
Keep up to date and informed on company/office policies and procedures through staff meetings and correspondence.
Communicate any patient concerns or complaints to Site Manager.

Annual salary range: $15.75 - $21.25

Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent with additional education desirable.
Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
CPR certification is highly preferred.
Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
