Description
Our EMR Team is looking for a Clinical Application Analyst to join their team! This person will maintain and support applications, including file build, modifications and participate in new release management testing. They will also assist in development, implementation and support programs in core technologies and applications. This position will be Monday – Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. This is a hybrid opportunity and requires travel to our practices as needed.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource for the Application Specialist and help desk functions.
Records problem symptoms and status information in the tools provided in a timely fashion in an effort to communicate with team to resolve customer issues.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of the EMR applications and configuration
Maintain detailed knowledge of the application both from the customer perspective and systems perspective.
Use analytical and problem solving ability to identify and resolve various software issues.
Maintain a customer orientation and work to ensure application meets the needs of the customers and the organization.
Provides support, education, and coordination of issues identified through customer contact.
Maintain proficiency in the technology tools which support application.
Work with cross functional teams to address the support needs of application including IT and TASS departments for issues identified through customer contact.

Requirements
Associates Degree in computers or information systems or equivalent work experience.
Three years of experience in a software support role.
Strong dedication to customer service.
Prior experience in the implementation and support of information systems.
Experience working in a 24/7/365 service operation with occasional on-call rotations strongly preferred.
Experience in a medical practice office or in physician systems implementations preferred.
Valid NYS driver’s license along with a dependable vehicle.
May need to travel locally and/or nationally at times.
Allscripts Touchworks Electronic Medical Record application support and knowledge preferred.
