As a member of the Nova Health’s Information Technology Department , the Systems Administrator I helps oversee the efficient operation of the organizations network and computer systems. The individual has experience in network backup, data restoration, maintenance of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and network security measures. They have experience with software and application support and understand phone systems. The Systems Administrator I has the ability to install, support, and maintain servers and other computer systems, and may assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, system software, applications software, and configurations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Configure and maintain email applications, virus protection software, phone system software, etc. Collaborate on the planning, coordination, and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Configures, optimizes, and maintains VoIP phone system and phones. Monitor performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinate computer access and use. Perform assessment of workstations and peripherals in accordance with the Lifecycle Management policy. Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware and software requirements. Resolve helpdesk escalations that have been prioritized above Tier I. Provide evening and weekend work when on call. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications:Education: A high school diploma/GED is required. A college degree in computer science is preferred. Certificate/License: MTA, CASP , MCSA, or similar preferred. Experience: A minimum of two (3) years of IT support experience is required. Medical group or ambulatory care experience preferred. Microsoft Server 2012/2016. VMWare, VDI. Office 365. Experiencing using a Helpdesk ticketing system. Cisco Meraki configuration and troubleshooting. 8x8 experience preferred. Experience with eClinicalworks, Experity, and Dragon Medical One preferred. Demonstrated effective written, verbal and electronic communication that is professional in both content and delivery. Demonstrated ability to gain trust and respect of the providers, staff, and peers. Effectively models interpersonal and problem-solving skills to aid in the resolution of issues in a timely manner. Ability to work as a team member. Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. Strong interpersonal skills.
