Team Leader DSP

Team Leader DSP Job Description:

· The Team Leader DSP is responsible for directly assisting individuals with disabilities with all daily living activities. The Team Leader DSP is responsible for supporting and collaborating with other staff on the shift to deliver the best quality of services. The Team Leader DSP also works closely with the House Supervisor in the planning and management of the daily routines.

Team Leader DSP – Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide direct care services to individuals with disabilities including the implementation of basic services such as meal preparation, clothing, medication administration, hygiene and other activities of daily living.

· Encourage individual independence as appropriate throughout daily routines and provide opportunities for individuals to participate in making choices as appropriate.

· Support and collaborate with coworkers on the shift to ensure proper planning and completion of all tasks assigned to the shift.

· Assist with the new staff orientation, training, and maintaining a positive morale amongst staff.

· Complete all required paperwork and document as appropriate in goal data books, log books, and medication records in a timely manner.

Team Leader DSP Qualifications/Skills:

· HS/GED

· Valid driver’s license

· Effective leadership skills

· Effective oral and written skills in English.

· Must be able to effectively work with coworkers and follow up to ensure completion of all shift tasks assigned.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule:

• Team Leader 1: Sunday-Wednesday, Team Leader 2: Wednesday-Saturday

Supplemental pay types:

• Sign-on & Retention bonuses
