Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional / DSP

A Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional position offers:

· Up to $19/Hour for Qualified Applicants; Up to $3,000 in stay incentives for Full-Time positions; Up to $1,500 for Part-Time positions.

· $500 sign-on bonus for part-time and $1000 full-time positions.

· An attractive and flexible schedule that fits your life. Our program runs Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm but we can create a schedule to fit your needs!

· Work close to where you live in the Hudson Valley region (Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties) of the New York State – short distance from Putnam and Rockland Counties in NY and Fairfield County, CT.

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional Job Description:

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional – Duties and Responsibilities:

· Tasks include engaging and providing supports to individuals in our program

· Enabling the greatest level of independence possible

· Providing habilitative services to individuals in the community to foster community inclusion and relationship building.

· Engage participation in recreation, social, and skill-building activities as appropriate.

· Complete documentation electronically as required.

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional Qualifications/Skills:

· HS/GED

· Valid driver’s license

· Prior experience working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred.

· Effective oral and written skills in English.

· Must work positively within a team environment and be able to work independently.'
