The CASCADE (Courage and Support for Changing Attitudes, Dependencies and Environments) Services Program provides both outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment and prevention services for new and expecting mothers and their children.
Summary:
As the Program Director at Community Choices Inc., your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the delivery of substance abuse services for women and their children, both directly provided and contracted. The goal is to ensure the provision of high-quality programming that efficiently meets the needs of this special population.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and track service delivery, identifying gaps and implementing innovative methods to enhance programming.
Provide services including SACOT, SAIOP, and In-Patient programs.
Lead program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Take charge of grant writing, monitoring, and administration.
Manage budgets effectively.
Advocate for the needs of the community.
Act as a liaison with the state.
Provide training as necessary.
Prepare and submit various reports on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.
Handle correspondence and maintain mileage reports.
Fulfill other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in a human service field and at least 2 years of supervisory and management experience.
Preferably, a licensed clinician (LCAS).
Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Effective public speaking abilities.
Mathematical Skills:
Proficiency in high school mathematics, including percentages, fractions, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.
Reasoning Ability:
Demonstrated sound judgment in addressing concerns and findings.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions and regulations.
Proactive approach to addressing issues and meeting client expectations.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Windows 98 and office equipment such as fax and copy machines.
Adherence to professional dress code and conduct.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate commitment and adaptability.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Mandatory initial and annual training including Client Rights & Confidentiality, Documentation, Ethics, Workplace Violence, Harassment Prevention, and Defensive Driving.
Annual training in First Aid/CPR, Universal Precautions, and North Carolina Interventions (NCI).
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform various physical tasks including typing, reaching, standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Intermittent physical activity may be required, including supporting patients.
Work Environment:
Exposure to viruses, diseases, and traumatic situations may occur.
Flexibility to work at different facilities and extended hours.
May be exposed to outside weather conditions.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
