ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs receptionist functions such as answering phones, taking messages, and directing inquiries to appropriate staff.
2. Types a variety of material with accuracy and completeness, following accepted formats, forms, and instructions.
3. Types revisions for all appropriate agency documents.
4. Assists in maintaining filing system for department.
5. Keeps informed of departmental operations in order to answer inquiries.
6. Prepares reports both internally and externally.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attends meetings as required.
2. Assists staff members with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
3. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and other related programs including client tracking software.
2. Proficient oral and written communication skills.
3. Ability to deal tactfully with the public.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma. (Required)
2. Reliable transportation. (Required)
3. Experience in dealing with the general public. (Required)
