Preferred degree: interdisciplinary early childhood education, early childhood special education, early childhood education, early childhood development , elementary education, child care assistant, child development services, human sciences, individual and family studies.

Related degree: psychology, sociology, art therapy, child life, elementary education, nursing, speech therapy, counseling , human services, human services administration or program administration, nursery school teacher, university or general studies with emphasis in early childhood, physical therapy , occupation therapy.

Knowledge, skills, experience, education, abilities:

• A. Prep Academy Site Director I:MA plus IECE certification ; MA in related degree with equivalent course work.
  • Prep Academy Site Director II: BA plus IECE certification
  • Prep Academy Site Director III: BA in preferred field
  • Prep Academy Site Director IV: AA in ECE plus five (5) years of experience. 2 . Two (2) years of related experience in a preschool setting.

• Experience as a supervisor is required.
• Experience in early childhood classroom management , planning curriculum and record keeping is required.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desired.
