Family Support Specialist (In-Person)

Child Care Network (CCN) provides services to families seeking early education and care resources including referrals to programs, consumer education, and information about child care financial assistance. We are seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team. Full Time and Part Time positions available. Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary. Second language skills, (Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole) are preferred.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

· Assisting families in identifying an appropriate child care provider and related resources

· Conducting intake and eligibility assessments with families seeking child care financial assistance

· Accessing multiple databases for accurate and timely data entry and other administrative tasks to maintain all program related documentation including family case files, program communication logs, and correspondence

· Conducting every interaction with coworkers, families, and community contacts in a professional, confidential, culturally sensitive manner to implement all components of agency operations

. Local travel may be required. (Mileage is provided) 

Qualifications and experience should include:

· A high school degree or its equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree in education, family services or affiliate field preferred.

· One year or more documented experience working in fast paced office environment or combination of training and experience that demonstrates ability to accurately implement complex policies, procedures, and regulations while supplying excellent customer service to demanding clientele.

· Demonstrable computer proficiency with experience in accurate data maintenance and ability to manage time sensitive tasks.
