Communication Planning Corporation has been a provider of Low-Voltage solutions in the business and commercial market for North Florida since 1980, we are expanding our team! CPC is looking for Technicians for category 6 data cabling and installation of other low-voltage systems in business and commercial environments. We service and install CCTV, Access Control, A/V, network, and Fiber Optic cabling. Experience is a plus but we will train the right applicant.

We are a well-established and respected cabling company that has been in business for 40 years serving the Jacksonville area Providing Wi-Fi, CCTV, Phones, speech privacy, network cabling, It room buildout, and other low-voltage services.

Minimum requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence and eagerness to grow.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Installation of Data and Voice Cabling system
• Installation of category 5e, 6, 6a and cabling and terminating jacks and Patch panels.
• Proper labeling, Terminating and Testing cable
• Installation of J-hook, sleeves, firestop, cable tray, communication racks and plywood backboards.
• Reading and understanding prints and diagrams.
• Installation of other low voltage technologies.

Other technologies that you may be exposed to or trained in:

• Network Cabling, Fiber Optic cabling, termination and testing.
• Paging systems, Speech privacy, and notification systems
• VoIP, CCTV, Access Control, WiFi

Typical Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30.
