CommuniCare Family of Companies is Hiring an IT Technical Project and Application Admin Near Cincinnati, OH

CommuniCare Health Services is a world-class provider of health care services throughout 7 states and several other countries. We are currently seeking a full-time Technical Project & Application Admin in our IT department to support our facilities in the Mid-West area. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our corporate offices located in the Blue Ash, Ohio. Some travel throughout the Mid-West area will be required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain effective internal relationships with employees and leadership team.
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for all issues. This includes identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing customer escalations, problems, and complaints.
  • Lead and participe in conference calls.
  • Work independently on projects. Including the planning, scheduling, developing, and implementation.
  • Assist in supporting tools needed for in-house application development and deployment.
  • Install software licensed from a vendor, configure software, update software, tune the application from a performance viewpoint, troubleshoot problems, and train users.
  • Provide technical customer support for software, hardware, and network connectivity problems via support requests from telephone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Hardware support, including desktops, thin clients, laptops, iPads, iPhones, android devices, printers, multi-function copiers, multimedia equipment, and wireless devices.
  • Software support, including all supported software packages, standard (Microsoft products), and non-standard (CommuniCare products). 
  • Act independently to resolve customer issues that may be technically complex in nature. Including performing maintenance on customer computers as required.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • IT experience in the healthcare industry would be a plus.
  • Project management experience with focus on time management.
  • Highly developed communication skills with experience working directly with business unit leadership.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations in a calm constructive manner while showing effectiveness in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to create, document, and explain technical procedures in layperson’s terms.
  • Ability to work independently. Candidate must be a "self-starter”.
  • At least three years’ experience troubleshooting hardware/software/connectivity problems .
  • At least two years’ experience in a LAN/WAN environment with an understanding of network design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Technical Certifications a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM or MDM solution a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and ok with working onsite 5 days a week.
