Outpatient Licensed Counselor

CommQuest is currently seeking a Full Time Outpatient Licensed Counselor at our Canton location. The Licensed Counselor will provide counseling services for the adult population, in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. The primary work schedule will be day time hours, Monday through Friday, with additional hours, as needed.

What you'll do:

• Provide trauma informed, evidence-based counseling services.
• Coordinate care with internal and external systems and service providers.
• Orient new clients to the agency's treatment philosophy.
• Provide crisis interventions, as needed.
• Provide assessments, as needed.
• Perform clinical record keeping.
• Provide client and family education.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required
• Minimum LPC or LSW is required. Those with LISW or LPCC preferred
• Previous experience with EHR systems and/or NextGen is a plus
• Previous experience providing both mental health and AOD services highly desired
• Previous experience providing trauma informed and evidence-based counseling is highly desired
• Must be willing to provide services to a wide variety of clientele
• Must be willing to work with adolescents and adults, providing individual and group counseling
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English
