Do you enjoy driving? Cambria County is seeking a part-time Meal Transporter to help make a positive impact on the families and communities they serve.

This is a part-time van driver position with the Area Agency on Aging. Van drivers will be involved in the transportation of home delivered meals to designated consumers on list provided by Senior Center Director. The Meal Transporter will assist in assembling meals as needed, will be in charge of morning maintenance check on the motor vehicle, maintain daily trip sheets, records actual mileages and times on delivery sheets, records actual time worked on timesheets. Makes visual contact with each consumer on route verifying that older adult is safe. Assists driving additional trips and other duties as required.

• Permanent, part-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

• Six months of experience which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• No suspension of driver’s license within the last three years.
