This part-time, 10-month position is responsible for performing Student Assistance Program (SAP) duties by planning and implementing prevention and intervention programs for schools and the community, as well as consulting and educating school personnel, students and parents. As an SAP liaison, you are an integral part of our team as you help identify students who are at risk, evaluate their needs and eliminate the barriers that hinder their learning progress.
In addition, this person will be responsible for facilitating and initiating behavioral health case management services for children and adolescents and their families by planning, developing and participating in programs and attending SAP meetings. This is in accordance with the needs identified through program requests, the general public, other services providers, representatives of special interest groups, and law enforcement and court related personnel. You will be responsible to evaluate in-coming materials prior to presentation and prepare the distribution of evaluation surveys.
As a caseworker, you will co-facilitate SAP group meetings within the schools and complete SAP pre-assessments as necessary. Coordinates with BHIDEI intake, CASSP, Blended Case management and participates in team meetings as needed. You will serve and participate in agency/county initiatives such as suicide prevention and cross-system education.
