Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for weekend and evening shifts. Qualified candidates will help carry out the objective of the facility as part of total resident care and ensuring the protection of residents during these activities.
Job Duties

• Coordinate all activities programs with other departments.
• Assess and document patients' abilities and participation in group activities

Minimum Qualifications

•  Knowledge of memory care programming with demonstrated experience in caring for residents with Dementia.
•  Must possess the physical ability to turn, bend and lift without restrictions.
•  Ability to read, write and communicate ideas.

Additional Considerations

•  Experience working in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting.
