The Department of General Services (DGS) is currently seeking a hardworking and motivated candidate to join the team as an HVAC Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic. As an HVAC Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform a variety of routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration system components according to a prescribed set of instructions as well as monitoring system operation and performance within DGS owned or managed facilities. Work also includes responding to requests or alarms during shifts after hours and collaborating with other facility personnel. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
You will be expected to access, navigate, and monitor building automation systems including Automated Logic, Johnson Controls, Delta, and Siemens to monitor equipment performance, receive alarm messages, and provide proper notifications. A supervisor will be available to guide situations that may have a significant impact on operations.
