In the role of a Highway Sign Worker, your primary responsibility will involve the identification and installation of directional signs along state highways. This will entail not only locating the appropriate spots for these signs but also ensuring they are securely installed. Additionally, part of your duties will involve the replacement of broken signposts and damaged signs to maintain the safety and efficiency of the highway signage system. Another aspect of the position will involve the maintenance of the area surrounding state highway signs. This will include tasks such as cutting weeds to ensure visibility and accessibility of the signs. Furthermore, you will be responsible for painting crosswalks and parking stalls in compliance with environmental protection regulations, contributing to the overall safety and aesthetics of the highway infrastructure. As a Highway Sign Worker, you will also be expected to perform skilled tasks related to the upkeep of various types of signs.
