EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will be in charge of overseeing compliance with several highway maintenance programs such as the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4), the department’s Strategic Environmental Program (SEMP), the implementation of emergency management activities, permit requirements, and other regulatory obligations. You will work with District executives and serve as the District Storage Tank Coordinator. This is a key function to ensure our District is in compliance with the Tank Act and the Tank Program requirements outlined by state and federal regulatory requirements. We will train you to become the main point of contact to answer questions, maintain compliance, participate in emergency operations, and communicate essential maintenance plans for District 8-0.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time at the discretion of the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
