In this position, you will be responsible for performing the security duties necessary for the protection of those in attendance at the Farm Show Complex, as well as Commonwealth personnel and property. Duties include directing traffic, collecting parking fees, greeting and assisting visitors, and patrolling the Complex and parking areas during the busy show season.
Positions are temporary, part-time without benefits, and located at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg. Security Officer positions are called to work on an as-needed basis, year-round. Farm Show Security operates on a 24-hour schedule so shifts and hours will vary, which may include holidays and weekends. This position is considered essential and as such is required to report to working during emergencies and office closings.
