THE POSITION
Expand your clerical skills and help the Lancaster County Assistance Office (CAO) serve the community! The CAO helps the residents of Pennsylvania receive benefits and services provided by various support programs.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will help the Lancaster CAO with a wide range of clerical and general office duties. As a first point of contact for the office, clerical assistants interact with the general public in a courteous and professional manner both in person and via telephone.
Using basic computer skills, you will perform various office functions to complete tasks under the supervision of a Clerical Supervisor.
These duties will include processing applications for public assistance and pulling necessary information from the applications to prepare case initiations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.
