The main responsibility of this role is to offer civil engineering analysis and coordination within the District Traffic Operations Unit. The focus will primarily be on areas such as Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC), incident management, signing and pavement markings, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and conducting reviews for Department projects and Highway Occupancy Permits (HOP). The objective is to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with the criteria, standards, regulations, and policies set by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Additionally, this position provides support to the Design Unit by reviewing projects to ensure compliance with traffic engineering regulations, standards, and policies.Interested in learning more?
