Working out of our Harrisburg Headquarters, the selected individual will be responsible for managing the statewide black bear program. Join us in our mission to maintain healthy black bear populations in suitable habitats throughout the Commonwealth.
In the role of Wildlife Biologist 2, you will coordinate and manage the PA Game Commission's statewide black bear program. This black bear biologist is responsible for black bear research, management, population monitoring, and outreach statewide. You will have the opportunity to serve as principal investigator for black bear studies, as well as the agency's technical advisor on black bears in Pennsylvania.
