Within this role, you will perform audits, consultation, and advisory journey-level work activities to assist Internal Audit in achieving its mission and service to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). In this role, you will serve independently or as a contributing member of a team, completing assigned duties while developing a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing and office techniques. Work involves traveling to assignment site locations to interview staff and obtain evidence. Duties focus primarily on testing transactions, performing inventories, visually examining records and documentation, and observing events to ensure that PLCB policy, designed internal controls, and laws and regulations are adhered to. You will prepare and organize the required audit documentation necessary to support the conclusions reached and the recommendations made.Current college students within 6 months of obtaining their bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.Additional details regarding the duties of this position may be found in the
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee; or
Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.
