Description

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of State Budget Director is seeking a Policy and Budget Analyst III. This position will work along side staff with responsibilities including the preparation, impementation and monitoring of the Executive Branch budget.
Responsibilities of the Policy and Budget Analyst III include:

• Review and analysis of agency biennial budget request.
• Preparation of biennial budget request for assigned agencies within the Executive Branch
• Monitor legislative action during General Assembly Sessions including tracking of proposed changes to Executive Branch budget request.
• Process requests from assigned agencies including budget modification documents, documents for capital projects.

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
