The Camping/Boat Dock Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of managing and maintaining our 199 slip Marina. This includes performing and/or supervising maintenance. Leading and directing all employees assigned to the Marina. Handling all retail operations and effectively working with our customers. Key Responsibilities:
Supervising, training, and scheduling of Marina/Boat Dock personnel
Planning and implementation of maintenance programs design to keep the marina in proper working condition, as well as improve whenever possible, the physical marina.
Working with the Business Office on annual slip rentals. Retaining existing customers and attracting new customers.
Inventory, purchasing, and budget reporting help
Enforceing departmental rules, regulations, and policies
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of marina operations, both from a maintenance and operational side.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of experience in the operation of recreational/accommodation facilities or retail business management.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional training in the above fields will substitute for the experience on a year for year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional related experience will substitute for the education on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed outdoors.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 9 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
