Are you interested in working on golf course located in a beautiful setting? We are looking for a golf course assistant superintendent that enjoys the outdoors, has knowledge and experience of the following: golf course maintenance and agronomic operations, budgeting and pesticide application programs, landscape maintenance and design, maintenance of a golf equipment fleet, and irrigation repair and operation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Personnel management.
- Assist Golf Course Superintendent in all phases and agronomic operations on the golf course.
- Assist in developing long term plans, budgeting plans, and chemical programs.
- Lead staff in projects and routine maintenance activities.
- Irrigation repair, instillation, and application to turf.
- Calibrate and operate the equipment necessary to apply chemicals and fertilizers.
- Ensure Parks standards and expectations are being met.
- Public relations and community involvement.
