Job Title: Remote Psychologist specializing in Autism Behavior Assessment

As a Remote Psychologist specializing in Autism Behavior Assessment, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and understanding the behaviors of individuals on the autism spectrum. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around conducting comprehensive assessments, hosting clinical interviews, and generating detailed reports for professionals in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing valuable insights and guidance to support individuals with autism and their families.

This is a 1099 contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Assessment:
  • Utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to evaluate and analyze the behaviors of individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess social skills, communication abilities, sensory processing, and other relevant domains.
  • Clinical Interviews:
  • Conduct remote clinical interviews with individuals diagnosed with autism, as well as their caregivers or family members, to gather comprehensive background information.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and ABA therapists to ensure a holistic understanding of each individual's needs and challenges.
  • Report Writing:
  • Generate detailed assessment reports summarizing findings from evaluations and clinical interviews.
  • Provide clear and actionable recommendations to support the development of personalized treatment plans and interventions.
  • Remote Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with ABA therapists, educators, and other professionals involved in the care of individuals with autism.
  • Participate in remote meetings and case discussions to contribute insights and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging trends in autism assessment and intervention.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance expertise and proficiency in the field.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology with a focus on clinical or developmental psychology.
  • State licensure for Kentucky.
  • Specialization or extensive experience in the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism evaluation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to conduct remote clinical interviews effectively.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise assessment reports.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while also collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
