Responsibilities

The System Manager IT Cybersecurity role is responsible for the management of a process including related projects and resources as assigned and may be responsible for the supervision of professional, technical and administrative support staff assigned to the process. This Role supervise staff including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training; and hiring, discipline and termination procedures. Incumbents oversee day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in support of the respective assigned process/program(s) including developing, implementing and evaluating operating policies, procedures and standards; determining service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring budgets; providing technical advice and/or oversight to staff or other departments related to area of assignment; evaluating information concerning needs; estimating and coordinating program/unit activities and associated costs; and tactical project execution activities. The incumbent manages a team accountable for the development, implementation, management, refinement, or support of technologies, systems, and information critical to day to day business operations.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Identity Access Governance program, processes and projects to ensure key objectives are met, daily operations are managed, and resulting metrics and reporting are provided. Program includes Access Term Reviews, Privileged Access Reviews, and Critical Application Access Reviews.
  • Responsible for hiring and maintaining staff to ensure cybersecurity programs and daily operations are supported effectively. This includes setting goals for staff, conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline, and termination procedures.
  • Responsible for day to day operations in support of cybersecurity programs. This includes the development of standard operating procedures, runbooks, service levels, project status reports, and providing ongoing metrics and reporting.
  • Responsible for management of Managed Service Providers where appropriate to ensure contractual obligations are met and security standards are adhered to.
  • Responsible for establishing collaborative relationships with key customers and leaders across the organization to ensure customer needs are met and security standards are communicated. 
  • Responsible for understanding and adherence to Security Standards.
  • Protects valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data through oversight and governance of assigned security functions.
  • Supports security and privacy audits and supports the development of mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional education required
  • 3-5 years of relevant technical and business experience required (i.e. Identity Access Management).
  • 1 year of information technology leadership required.
  • 1 year of Cybersecurity experience preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • One or more relevant technical/professional security certifications (such as: COMP-TIA Network , Security , SANS GIAC, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or vendor-specific) preferred.
  • 4 years’ experience Identity and Access Management (IAM) suites such as IBM Tivoli, CA IAM, SailPoint, RSA Aveksa, or Micro Focus/Novell
