Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a Physician Assistant - (PA-C) to join our Sports Medicine team in Downtown Seattle. 

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Sports Medicine is a multispecialty clinic with a patient centered approach and collaborative team. Our clinic cares for a broad range of athletes, including recreational, collegiate, and professional sports. Our providers are care partners for multiple professional teams including the Seattle Kraken and Mariners. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team and support our patients in the Downtown Seattle clinic. 

• Collaborative team that includes; 3 physicians, a group of general orthopedic Physician Assistants to assist in surgery and in the hospital, 5 Physical Therapists and 4 administrative support staff.

Responsibilities

See patients in the clinic, refer to Orthopedic Surgeons as needed, perform first assist in the Operating Room, and assist with patient communication.

Qualifications

• This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• Experience in Orthopedics/Sports Med is preferred
