As an Advanced Medical Assistant you will be responsible for the delivery of patient care in the clinic setting.

Essential Duties:

• Performs preliminary patient assessments.
• Prepares patient for health care provider.
• Administers medication and/or vaccinations.
• May collect blood samples and perform EKGs.
• Assist healcare providers with exams, treatments, prorocedures and testing.
• Ensure optimization of physician practice by keeping current with EMR flow and templates.
• Notify patients of diagnostic test results under the direct supervision of the healthcare provider.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

License/Certifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers

Experience:

• 5 years related experience

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
