CHI Health-CommonSpirit andCreighton University School of Medicine is seeking to add a quality driven, Pulmonary/ Critical Care physician to join our highly-respected and energetic Department

This opportunity is well suited for the fellowship trained physician passionate about providing comprehensive pulmonary/critical care in an academic setting in Omaha, NE

 Our opportunity offers:

  • Exceptional team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP's)
  • The Service provides Inpatient/Outpatient Pulmonary Critical Care services at our (5) Omaha network hospitals
  • Creighton University Medical Center Bergan (CUMC Bergan) is main Academic campus and Level 1 Trauma Center
  • ECMO trained Critical Care
  • Interventional Pulmonary trained colleagues
  • Join team to provide general PCCM services. Opportunity to have subspecialty interest. Both Intensivist and Non-ICU coverage
  • Resources include Interventional Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Electromagnetic Navigational Bronchoscopy
  • eICU services staffed by highly trained Advanced Practice Providers in collaboration with Physicians
  • Accredited Sleep Lab
  • Academic contribution; in Pulmonary/Critical Care. Contribute Research and publications if desired
  • Fellowship Programs for Pulm/CC/Sleep fellows

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:

    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Compliance:
    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
