The Telemetry department at Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley West cares for patients with chest pain, heart failure, stroke, sepsis, GI bleeds, bariatric surgery, orthopedic surgery. We recover TR bands, manage chest tubes, run cardiac drips and many more medical and surgical disease processes, as well as receive overflow from other inpatient units in the hospital. Our 21-bed unit currently has a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio and has a passion for having students learn on the unit as well. Our culture is one of learning, teaching and partnership.
