Overview:

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • One year of experience in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), preferred
  • HS GED or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing) or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) strongly preferred
  • BLS through American Heart Association required
  • Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

$35.43 - $57.94 / hour
