Common Crow Natural Market is Hiring a Lead Receiver Near Gloucester, MA

Common Crow is seeking a full-timeLead Receiver for our Data and Receiving department. This position plays a key role in our leadership team, checking in deliveries, entering invoices, maintaining inventory, as well as providing technological support and problem solving for our Point-of-Sale system, ECRS.

Job Summary

To provide leadership to receiving team, maintain ECRS Data Base and support all ECRS database and hardware operations. Ensure proper execution of department processes and procedures, excellent customer service and adherence to Common Crow policies.

General Responsibilities:

· Lead and direct all daily receiving workflows and assign duties. Train team members as needed

· Find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve productivity and profitability.

· Work cooperatively with all fellow team members to ensure the success of the business doing whatever is necessary, even if it is not specified within this job description.

Qualifications

·2 years experience in data entry work

·Ability to participate in a dynamic team setting, accept direction positively, problem solve and follow established procedures

·Knowledge or interest in organic farming and traditional foodways and natural products industry

·Ability to work well with others in a cooperative environment where teamwork and constant communication are essential

·Familiarity with category management and satisfying our customers' special needs

·Knowledge of a broad array of eating styles: raw food, locavore, vegan, paleo, allergen-sensitivity needs

·Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

·40 hours per week; Ability to work 8 hour shifts between 7am-8:30pm and weekends

·1 year commitment required; this is a core team position

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain the Database

·Greets, Maintain the price and cost files

·Maintain sale and promo price files

·Follow established procedures and help develop more as needed.

·Maintain and build an accurate inventory and problem solve database issues as they arise.

·Manage team, train and assign tasks

Report Management

·Be familiar with the reports in the system and the systems reporting capabilities.

·Determine which reports get used and when

·Support department operations with reporting when requested.

Support and Training, Hardware and Software Problem Resolution

·Provide help desk support to store personnel

·Provide system training to store personnel

·Assist store personnel resolve any problems they may have with system or registers, scales , handhelds and card scanners, server, switches, internet and wifi

·Liaise with ECRS to resolve any problems that require their support.

Supervision:

·Supervise and train Data Receivers

Experience/Education

Three to five years related experience and/or training; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
