Committee of 100 is Hiring a Remote Programs & Key Initiatives Intern

Position Description: Committee of 100 is seeking a part-time intern to support the Programs and Key Initiatives department. The role can be performed remotely and will be supervised by Committee of 100’s Director of Programs and Key Initiatives.

What you will do:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assisting the Director of Programs in organizing and researching prospective Next Generation Leaders (NGL) 

  • Assisting the Director of Programs and the Program Coordinator with the annual application cycle, building a cyclical calendar for NGL applications, internal review, C100 Member interviews, and notification milestones 

  • Assisting the Director of Programs and the Program Coordinator with NGL programming at Annual Conference & Gala

  • Updating alumni database

  • Coordinating NGL events and programming, including virtual and in-person activities 

  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as necessary 

Key Qualifications:

  • Currently attending an institution of learning with courses leading to a degree, certificate or diploma

  • Strong interest in working in a non-profit organization and supporting Committee of 100's dual missions 

  • Strong research abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Excels in a collaborative environment while able to work autonomously

  • Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills 

  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines 

  • Working knowledge of MS office 

Additional Information:

  • Candidates should be available to work approximately 15 hours per week (specific hours will be agreed with the direct supervisor and based on the student’s schedule). 

  • Interns will receive a stipend of $2700 for the 12-week internship program. Course credit is also available, if applicable. 

  • The anticipated start date for this position is March 25, 2024. However, this is negotiable based on the student’s schedule.
