We are excited to be seeking a Head Start Toddler Teacher here in Schodack NY. (Child Age Group 3 years old-5 years old)

  • Promote children’s development and learning through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum, Head Start Performance Standards and Daycare regulations
  • Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior
  • Build positive relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication.
  • Create a welcoming environment, respecting diversity, and encouraging parent participation in the center
  • Utilization of routines to promote learning and meaningful conversations with children.
  • Work collaboratively with families to support home and school learning connection
     Qualifications:
  • AAS or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and Office of Children and Family Services Day Care Regulations preferred
