Production / Assembly - Hiring Multiple Candidates
Commercial Employees is hiring multiple Production / Assembly Associates for the Fox Chapel / Aspinwall area. You will work as part of a company that provides power and battery solutions for heavy equipment worldwide in support of the Railroad, Mining, Manufacturing, Energy, Marine, Automotive and other industries. These contract to hire positions have pay rates of $18 – 19 per hour, and provide weekly pay.
Production / Assembly Associate Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of functions in support of battery production and repair.
• Refurbishment of heavy machinery batteries.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform job.
• Adhere to all quality policies and procedures.
• Inspect products throughout shift to ensure quality standards, and report issues to Production Supervisor.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and requirements.

Requirements for Production / Assembly Associate Positions:

• Strong mechanical aptitude is required, along with the ability to use hand tools, follow directions, and utilize instruction manuals.
• Previous experience in a production facility preferred. But specific battery experience is not required. Training will be provided to all new Associates.
• Driver’s License required – CDL is helpful, but not required.
• Should have good math and analytical abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
• Closed toe (steel toe) and slip resistant shoes, long pants and t-shirt/long shirt required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Vocational Training or Apprenticeships are helpful).

Production / Assembly Associate Pay and Benefits:

• Starting wage between $18 - $19 per hour, that is paid weekly.
• Work schedule is daylight shift (6:30 am – 3:00 pm) but could change to 7:00 am – 3:30 pm after training and as business requires.
• 40 hour work weeks, with Overtime available as needed.
• Potential temp to hire full-time position.
