Inventory Control Specialist

Overview

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service (CAPS) is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position will play an integral role within our team supporting our Field Service Department by monitoring inventory levels throughout our warehouse system and driving the process.

Essential Responsibilities

• Reviewing stock movement and make Min/Max recommendations
• Review stocking levels and prepare RMA reports and track for return deadlines
• Pull inventory from Trucks and Main warehouse for RMA shipment
• Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not
• Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
• Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
• Performing regular inventory counts.
• Review Manufacturer stocking requirements and advise necessary adjustments
• Perform warehouse and van cycle and full inventory counts
• Inventory history review and resolution of counts

Qualifications

• Previous inventory experience
• Detail oriented
• Strong communication, and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize against deadlines
