Graphic Designer

Commando is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our small but mighty Brand Creative Team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to infuse your creativity into every aspect of our marketing and design efforts, helping to shape the narrative of our brand identity. From concept development to final execution, you'll play an integral role in bringing our brand vision to life, ensuring that every design resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Brand Creative Team to execute design projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with the brand's aesthetic and messaging
  • Generate compelling concepts and on-brand designs for print and digital communications across various channels, including emails, social posts, paid ads, video content, photo editing, web assets, and printed materials
  • Support internal teams creating presentation decks, image asset management and other visual needs
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to develop effective strategies and campaign concepts in conjunction with the creative team
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the creative team and cross functionally, working together to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in graphic design and the fashion industry, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader team

Requirements:

  • A fanatic about all things design
  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience - fashion industry experience a plus
  • A portfolio showcasing creative and impactful design work
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Photo retouching skills and working knowledge of After Effects is a plus
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong time management, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment
