Commander, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWARSYSCOM) is Hiring a SCIENTIST Near Point, CA

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Qualifications:

ND-02:
Basic education requirement for the ND-02, Professional Computer Science series:

a. Bachelor's Degree
b. Bachelor's degree or higher with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of my 30 semester hours were in a combination of statistics that included differential and integral calculus.


ND-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying intermediate computer science methods and techniques to solve moderately complex computer processing requirements.

ND-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: translating customer requirements and program needs to develop new and improved concepts, principles, and/or techniques that will advance the body of knowledge of computer science.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
